Before entering politics I spent more than a decade as a journalist telling the stories of regional Australians, and became the youngest person ever appointed national agricultural journalist and editor with Fairfax Media and Stock & Land.
Having seen firsthand the gap between city and country when it comes to hospitals, schools, transport and support services, I'm committed to closing it. That's what I was elected to do, and it's what I turn up for every day.
